But what is Purpose?
Her purpose is her job – for now
Just like an unraveling spiral
She is always in the center
Her purpose always revealing
Her comfort is in trusting the process
Whatever she needs to do
Whatever lays before her
Whatever task is at hand
Is her purpose
She knows that she has choices
She accepts this
She knows that she has duties
She accepts those
She knows that she has purpose
She always has
Whatever she is given
Whatever she is committed to
Whatever she takes action on
Is always revealing her purpose
She can choose comfort
She can choose to be happy
Where she is
With what she has
That could be her purpose
She can choose to dream
She can choose to create
From where she is
With what she has
That could be her purpose
There is no difference in status to the universe
Happiness is an acceptance
Of where you are
Of what you want
Or the drive to achieve it
Everyone has purpose
It is only the acceptance of what is
Yet, for some it becomes the fuel to their fire
And others know that what they have is enough to make them happy
What fuel do you require?
What sparks ignite you?
Are you content with a slow burn?
Or do you want the roar of excitement?
The secret to purpose is knowing what you want and
Embodying that within your being
This simple truth will set you free
Know yourself
Know your limitations
Grow if you need to
Learn if you must
Go after that which is important to you
Or accept
It is that is what it is
For your purpose can be to sit at home and care for those who need you
For your purpose can be to work and find contentment in that
For your purpose can be to sustain yourself whilst you follow your dreams
For your purpose can be to inspire others by sharing everything you know
What is your purpose?
What do you desire?
Be honest
For to be content you have to accept that your dreams come with contentment if you allow it.
The contentment with what is or
The contentment in doing all it is you need to do
Purpose can be a driver so slow that you hardly notice
Or a force so strong that it pushes you forward with momentum
What is your purpose?
It is yours to decide
You can be driven by the world and everyone else’s desire
Or you can choose your own
We are all at the center of our spiral
Revealing if we choose to see
We can look back and choose what we wish to take with us
We can look forward and choose what we want to be
Purpose is deciding
Are you content?
What would you really, really like to do?
Are you taking action?
It doesn’t matter if it is a big or tiny step
Otherwise, choose contentment
It is yours – you only have to choose it
Have no judgment about yourself or others
It is a freedom
Have no shame, nor guilt, nor blame
It is a freedom
Do accept your limitations
It is a freedom
Do accept responsibility
It is a freedom
We all have a purpose
All are equal
All are enough
Choose your battles wisely
For battles can be your purpose too!
Is it your battle?
Can you fight with kindness, compassion and grace?
Choose your purpose for now with commitment
For your purpose grows with your focus
Is this your purpose for the moment?
Can you fulfill your purpose with kindness, compassion and grace?
Whatever your purpose is today does not mean that it will be that way tomorrow
Choose your purpose otherwise somebody else will choose it for you
Whatever you have to do this moment is your purpose
Live for today with the hope of tomorrow
Commit to your purpose today and plan for your purpose tomorrow
Commit to making the unraveling journey as beauty filled along the way
It doesn’t matter if you are a student, a mother, a carer, a lover, a wife, a loner, a leader.
Do your job at hand to the best of your ability
And you will always be – on purpose
